Monterey Peninsula Post No. 41, The American Legion, Department of California

Since 1775, America has had veterans and those who support them and their families. Following "the Great War" in 1919, several veterans groups organized themselves into what Congress would recognize at "Veteran Service Organizations." The American Legion is the largest Veteran Service Organization serving our country today. At Post 41, we have three kinds of membership:

1. American Legion Post 41 (veterans only)

2. American Legion Auxiliary Unit 41 (veterans, spouses, and relatives of veterans)

3. Sons of the American Legion (sons of veterans)

Applications for membership can be found inside the Post during normal business hours.

Yes! You can join all three organizations if you are eligible!
